Danke! Would you be thinking of coming? I'm compiling a list of names to get a sense of how many people actively want to come. :)

I'd be delighted to attend! I'm a writer, vidder, and fan, and if you'd like to organize some fan-run panels, I can probably help with that, too.

Great! I don't think I'm going to be able to do a real 'con' with panels - the space doesn't really allow for it and this is the first year and I don't want to bite off more than I can chew. ;) It's only going to be a one day event, and with the three episodes, plus time for just hanging out and such, I think the day will already be packed.

I'm definitely thinking about some fun things that we might do - perhaps a Sherlock Trivia Game event, or maybe a Meet the Author type thing, so if you have any ideas in that vein, do let me know. :)

I was thinking it could be really cool to 'frame' the episodes with vids. Start off, before 2x01, with one or two season 1 vids, to remind everyone, "When last we saw our heroes..."

Then, after each episode, have another one or two vids as commentary.

I'd be sort of a, 'Here's the canon, and here's what we have to say about it!'

That could probably be done! We do have to coordinate with the projectionist though. This is not something we can 'run' ourselves - it's a union thing. I also have NO vidding talent. ;) I think for in-between though, I'd rather let people chat amongst themselves than control the dialog. There will also be the need for bathroom breaks and food breaks then. :) But a season 1 recap to start off would be very cool, especially the ending of The Great Game, since we won't be showing that. Not that everyone hasn't seen it a million bajillion times by now I suspect, but we all enjoy a refresher... ;)
