Okay, so I saw this. And then I read this. And then I jumped up and down for a while before I could comment. I might have also waved my hands around a lot. This is beautiful and kind of what I was hoping for in the brilliant cat and mouse of information you've been building through this series. It doesn't reveal too much before the meeting at the pool while still maintaining the integrity of Sherlock's genius. This is as always lovely. And I loved the use of the word affinity, often overlooked in modern English usage, but a beautiful one none the less.

You are too good to me. :D I'm so glad that you are enjoying this to the amazing extent that you are. So very flattered!

And I'm SO FAR BEHIND ON READING YOUR STUFF! Mucho de guilto. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't been reading hardly any fic lately. But I owe you reading and many many comments, I'm sure!

John most definitely has an affinity for Sherlock, no matter what universe he's in. :)

Thank you so much! I've always like the idea of science and magic being the flip sides of the same coin. Or at least they are the way Sherlock does magic. I can totally see him using both techniques interchangeably to get answers. And it is fun, to have magic be something that can be terribly mundane and everyday at times. Like anything, it's a tool. I'm glad that the magic doesn't alter or overshadow the characters. :)

I just found out that you started a sequel to fallen, and I am again totally hooked. I am so looking forward to more.
Nice to find out more about John's new nature. Loved the switch between dominating hands and now the for him foreign feeling of being separated from magic.
Please write more. I am looking forward to new updates.
