Scarlett had never seen it as more than a tool of her trade, a bonus for the better paying customers. The poorer ones she tended to in any available corner, back alley or darkened doorway.
With Jack it had been different. Even the times when he was skint broke, he’d always managed to finagle his way upstairs and into bed. He knew what a women wanted, needed. Seemed only natural with him.
Jack Sparrow knew the ways of women … and how to bed them.
The world seemed a bit less bright, her bed a bit more cold without him.
