Smoking update
I'm still not smoking.
I've been wearing patches on my ass to help with my lovely nicotine addiction. I've had to stop wearing them at night since they give me messed up dreams that make me feel like I haven't even gotten sleep!
I still would love to have a cigarette every once in a while, but it's not too bad. -
Non-Smoking
O.K. I quit smoking (again) for the last time this morning. I will not let nicotine beat me again. No more "just one", no more "just when I'm drinking", no more "just at Pennsc"!
NO MORE!

I think I am coming down with something. My throat is starting to tickle, slight body aches, and my head feels a little fuzzy. I started zinc (Airborne (TM) and vitamins last night. Maybe I can head this off, -

I'm starting a new job the first of August. Working for a tax attorney. I'm looking forward to it, but being laid off and looking for a new job has meant no Pennsic for me this year. The good thing is the new job comes with three weeks of paid vacation a year, and a bigger paycheck. I've already told Dan I WILL be going next year. I'm hoping to go ( Read more... ) -

For those who remember Marshall. She is now lying in the eternal sunbeam in the sky. The kids are sad, but they understand that she has lived a long kitty life.

Great day!
I had a wonderful relaxing day today. My M-I-L took the kids and I spent the day doing yardwork, getting my flower beds ready for planting. I hope to go to Lowes next week and get a profusion of beautiful flowers to plant in my front yard.
Danny came home and made me a yummy steak dinner.

Today with Mym
Had a great time with the Mymster today. Hit a craft show, walked River Street, fried green tomatoes for lunch (also fried asparagas and yes, fried shrimp on the salad Mym!). What do you want? Its the south! -
Memories
I was making pancakes for the kids this morning. When I got down to the end of the batter, I added a little more milk to make a couple more. A says "That's what Paddy used to do". She remembers how Cait liked thin pancakes and use to wait until everyone else was done making theirs and then make her own. I'm just glad she remembers her.
