oooh....what size are the tiles? IF they happen to be 5'x5' square and IF you happen to have any extras, may I have one? I have an outdoor scrolly wrought-iron thingy that holds one, but the one I had (it had a 'T' on it) broke.

you boggle my mind with your ability to do this stuff. although i'm musical, i never got the true 'artsy' gene at.all.
if you ever sell that conch shell painting you did, my offer still stands to buy it. it matches my kitchen. :)

Actually, they're 6" X 6", but I bet if I look I can find a 5" square one in the discards. Some of the early ones were off quite a bit because we underestimated the shrinkage.

I would totally sell the shell!

Hmmm...I assumed they would have the design on them before they were glazed...but they look all plain to me...guess I'm a pottery dunce. *L*

Actually, they do. Most of them are blue, but some are painted. They all have a clear glaze on them, which looks kind of grey until it's fired. Once it's fired, it will look shiny and clear with the color or design showing through.
