Can you offer more info on the Girl Scouts thing? I was considering putting Elise in it, but I was never a Girl Scout so I really have no idea what I'm getting into ;)
It seems really cool! There wasn't scout group around when I was a kid, either, so I really wasn't sure what to expect. It looks like they have a lot of educational activities that the entire family can participate in (field trips -- whitewater rafting, hiking, trips to museums and historic sites, etc...) plus other activities the girls can do to earn badges (grow a flower from a seed, make muffins from a recipe, crafts, etc...) Of course, I was really only paying attention to the Daisy level activities (kindgergarten to first grade) but it looked like there were a lot of fun things to do for all levels.
I do love the Thin Mints :) I just bought 2 boxes from a neighborhood girl a few weeks ago. Thanks for the info! Elise is just entering kindergarten next school year so Daisy level is where she'd be. I didn't even know there was a Daisy level :x
Yeah, they've revamped the whole Girl Scout thing top-to bottom. You're a Daisy before you're a Brownie, and then there's this new thing called "Studio 2B" for middle school girls. It's pretty neat.
I do like that they seem to have a lot of really cool activities that involve the whole family.

Am I gonna have to hear the "it's not you, it's me" line from a 10-year-old? (I'm pretty sure I didn't like hearing that when I was 10.)
