HOLY BANANAS. I've been waiting for an update of this fic for so long. I adored the rest of the chapters - you're a brilliant writer. So glad that you've decided to do it again. My only complaint is that I always want more, ha! Anyway, this is wonderful. So sexy. I know I should find it wrong, as Brendan's dangerous and controlling (even more so than on the show.) But I still ship them, and the part where they're in the showers is just swoon worthy. Can't wait for more.

The more the story progresses, the more I get addicted to it. I'm really glad that you're continuing it.
Now, straight to the point: JESUS CHRIST, ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!? I can't take so much hotness without being at least warned first! I didn't think it could be possible, but your Brendan's even more of a nutcase than show!Brendan. Me gusta ;) He's well hot too, and that doesn't hurt. My heart, however, aches for Ste. Poor boy's in trouble, and I think they will only get worse and worse from now on. Just tell Brendan everything and let him kill Danny, for Chrissake! (Easier said than done, I know)

Wow, what a comment! Thank you! I know, my Brendan is a psycho! I'm trying to make him a mix of early abusive Brendan and BeardedPrison!Brendan. He has only just met Ste so the love isn't all there yet ;) I like writing him dark and then giving him plot that would make him genuinely stop his abuse with Ste. I always like to think Ste is the one person that can change him. And yes, Ste should tell Danny but will he? ;)

Er...I was looking forward to an update of this but I'm not sure I liked this. There is nothing sexy about choking someone. I'm sure that wasn't your intentiom but that's how it seems to read. I just don't really feel easy about something like that being used in a story which primarily seems to aim to titilate - it cheapens the issue.

Hi, I'm sorry you felt like that. It wasn't supposed to titillate, it was supposed to be realistic and in-character. Abuse isn't sexy. I'm not trying to write a beautiful romantic tale of love. I'm trying to show the darker side to things and draw from Hollyoaks itself. Brendan has displayed behaviour like this and I was trying to be true to his character by doing it. I wanted to remind people that as much chemistry as they have, Brendan needs help, just like he does in HO.

I didn't want this to be an easy thing to read. I wanted people to sympathise with Ste's predicament of being in a dysfunctional relationship.
