Whew... that was a nasty one!

We think the worst has passed. Bill was down all day yesterday and a good part of this morning, but now he's up and around again (movin' slow, but moving!). Thanksgiving is proceeding according to plan. And what is that plan, you might say?

More for me to keep track than anything else... )

turkey, thanksgiving

If you want more juniper berries, I have a whole bottle that I'd be willing to split with you. =) (I've only ever used them for turkey brining)

Same here!

I should probably take you up on that... my wild harvested berries are about five years old. If you think of it, you can give them to Bill when he's out there next week (whaaaaa! I WANNA GO! But he's bringing hugs from me to all of you). Thanks for the kind offer!

I will totally try to remember to give some to Bill while he's here. I wish you were coming too!!!! Next time! I'll be sending some hugs back to you. I'm hoping I can get at least one from your little man! He is the cutest thing ever!

Oh, and I forgot to mention it, but I'm glad you're all feeling better. I picked up some sort of stomach flu (started this morning). I just can't think of a worse possible time to get the stomach flu. Hopefully I'll be over it by tomorrow *fingers crossed* as that is the day we're hosting my family at our house and I'm doing all the cooking. At least today I just have to make one dish to take over the in-laws.

xoxo

Oh, lordy, Heidi! I'm soooo sorry to hear it, and I hope it's just a quick little bug that fades out soon... if it's not, make C. save you some pie!

Everyone here was able to eat a bit of everything... while it wasn't quite the frenzied gobblefest of years past, we were definitely thankful to be able to eat at all!
