I am in serious need of a cheap (under $1100) new (to me) vehicle. My van is currently sitting in a parking lot, 1/2 a mile down the road, where it died on us (me and all 3 kids) this afternoon, for what I fear is the last time

It currently needs a new tire, but passed inspection the last time without trouble.
I would even make you a deal to simply take over the payments, or some other arrangement.

Ok, the price tag is a little bit steeper, but like I said I can make arrangements.

I have no reliable income right now, so I can't do anything with payments, as I can't guarantee an income from month to month. As it stands, the $1100 price cap means clearing out all 3 kids college savings accounts, to cover purchase price plus tax/title/reg fees.
