Ok, so I have an idea: That sham-wow thing, As Seen On TV? That sort of spongy towel thing? What if I put one of those between two bandanas, and sewed the whole thing together? The Sham Wow thing would absorb a lot more than a piece of cotton fabric, but would be slim enough to look like a bandana, I think.
And those sham-wow things do wash pretty well.
Clearly we need to collaborate. And if it comes down to it, I can teach you what you need to know to sew something like this; it's not complicated.
I totally never even thought of that. That could be the perfect idea. THANK YOU!!!! It's not just the knowing how to sew, but also the lack of a machine, and the total lack of funds to get a machine, that kill it for me. Kinda hard to afford a sewing machine, when you have to support a family of 4 on less than $10k/year. But yes, sewing tips and suggestions are always welcome.
