No. Not alot do practice the basic belief of being kind to one another.
This is true. But, my main questioning goes towards things.. like pedophiles. What makes the drive in them to commit this evil? Why would the Universe drive them to do such things, acts as permanently altering as these?

It's not so much the world.. I get why people do the things globally. Different cultures, religions.. etc.. conflicting beliefs. Jesus just showed up to early in that respect.

I just don't understand why people do what they do.
