Freyja ate one of my circular knitting needles last night. I was taking a nap and then I was awakened by a strange crunching noise and looked down to see her beside the bed with my knitting project in her mouth. Note to self: don't leave projects on the floor. Luckily it was a super-crappy knitting needle and just some knitting I was messing

At first I thought you meant she ate the entire knitting needle... like swallowed it down like spaghetti! That would be much more traumatic.

You're right--that would be really traumatic! No, she just chewed the points off. It was a supremely crappy plastic needle, though. Maybe I should actually be grateful. Maybe its an excuse to buy a new one. ;)
