In between watching football and playing Rock Band, I was on Flickr.com and looking at pictures of birds. There are lot of nice photographs there. You should go check it out some time.

That's awesome! I'm called Chickadee for a reason (people actually call me that in real life)...I love birds. Birdwatching is my hobby, which I suppose makes me the geekiest late-20s girl on the planet. Oh, well.

I love the red-shouldered hawk! I always get so excited when I spot a hawk perched on a power line, like this one. I've seen them swoop down to catch their prey, and it's just magnificent.

It's so dweeby, but birds are simply my passion.

Hello Hpchickadee,

I don't think we've actually spoken before on LJ. Or anywhere..... I think it's great that you like birds. I have developed a fondness for them recently. I may not be out birdwatching but I do like looking at pretty pictures of them.

Nice to see you on my lj. I am posting more pictures of birds as Flickr has so many great photographers.

Pretty birds!

And OMG I just spent all Saturday at my friend's house playing Rock Band. I like vocals the best because the instruments make my hands hurt. :P

Vocals are the easiest by far, especially if you know the song and you know what is coming etc...

Drums are way way difficult. Guitar is tough too but with practice I think i can get better. It sucks that you can't use guitars from earlier editions in this one.

I'm waiting to get that big screen tv before i watch that. It's just not the same watching it on my computer screen which doubles as my tv right now.

Eeee falcons! I love falcons. XDD When I was a kid I read My Side of the Mountain religiously, and I always wanted a peregrine falcon.

Okay, I need your assistance. If I fly into your neck of the woods. Is it a problem flying into Baltimore or should I look for a flight into Regan international? Southwest has some really cheap prices from Buffalo to Baltimore.

Also when would be a good time to visit? Where should I look for a hotel?

I got a lot of questions? I was looking to do it in the summer sometime but I am flexible but of course I need your help. Let me know.

I love birds, I used to have a couple, but sadly, they've both died. My dad had a pretty cool cockateil (until SM made him get rid of it! Grrr....) called Rerun, who would literally eat sunflower seeds right out of my lips! Of course, that did cause some problems when I had braces and he got a bit greedy... but that's a whole 'nother story!
