Oh the ironing........plus Moonlitwoods' question meme.

If someone gets a tattoo of the Apple logo I would question their decision. But fine who am I to judge their choices. But if someone gets a tattoo of the Apple logo plus the words "Think Different" underneath I can only shake my head in disbelief. Is buying an apple product really that counterculture now? The irony of it all is too much for my ( Read more... )

Sometimes I really wonder if I made the right choices after finishing school. On the surface the answer is pretty clear = No. But in all honesty I guess you need to know what you want to do before you do it properly. I didn't really know what I wanted and thus was unable to make proper decisions. So while I feel I lost a lot of time and 'good years' doing jobs I didn't really like perhaps it was all for the best. I've had a lot of fun outside of work so perhaps there are other indicators of success besides what sort of job you have and where you live.

I think you're right. And really, it's the journey, not the destination that counts. (queue Hallmark Movie of the Week music....) It's so hard to know what will come of any industry and predict future employment, right? Even my job.... I probably would have chosen the same things I did, but perhaps would've consumed a few less beers and saved a few more dollars during my first job. Well, maybe not. I might've taken back the beer bottles a bit more often though! lol.

My favourite city beside Toronto is Montreal so i would pick that as the city I would live in if I had to leave home for a year. I don't know any French so it might be initially difficult for me but the people are very friendly there so I don't think they would make it very hard for me. Finding work may be difficult but maybe I'll get lucky. :)

I'll need to think about a proper answer to this question. I thought of the question easy enough but a good answer will take a bit longer. I need to sleep on it.

Okay Mr. Inquisitor, I would like to begin my defense of my continued existence by saying I have always been a humble person. At least when it comes to the big stuff. As someone who believes in God I do feel that there is a always someone/something out there that is more in control of things than I am. So I don't take my continued good fortune for granted. Speaking of that good fortune, I do realise that in the long history of humanity I'm pretty much living the dream now. Got shelter, my health, food and relative safety. That being said I do know that I am living in the most wasteful era in memory. I do consume a whole lot of natural resources every year. That being said....I do my part to take care of the environment. I take public transit more often than most of my friends, and I have been recycling for like 15 years. That has got to do something to cancel out the lot of waste I have created. In regards to the question if I have used my time wisely than I think I have to say I'm about middle of the pack. Sure I could have studied ( ... )

I think they would say my best feature is that I am hard working and very organized.

I am pretty sure they would say that I am very often Mr. Grumpy. That "Rob can be Mr. Complainer" at many times. Well maybe a lot of times :P
