I think there's too much division and polarization in the world, really, too much us vs them.

The internet really doesn't help. Instead of the old way of being forced to at least superficially respect differences of opinion we can all now find a bunch of people with our own brand of intolerance and feed off each other.

So true. IMO, the growing wage gap and the soaring cost of a college education are two big motivators of the divisiveness, more so than the hot button issues, which politicians manipulate to their advantage. The internet is right up there too, allowing us to ridicule and avoid people who might just be reasonable, sensible people with a decent point to make. Go figure.

I own Apples now. PCs bore me completely. I haven’t installed a new video card in years.

I suspect he was never truly a geek. o__O

Apples suck. I'm a brat about it. My iPod is ok, but other than that, I hate it. It sucks when the only ocmputers open in the lab are macs, with their sticky keyboards and mutant mice.

Ugh, I am such a spoiled brat. Listen to me whine about my iPod and college education. Someone slap me.
