Often they mention like half a year.

Yes this is one of the things I am not looking forward to, should my workplace apprenticeship actually happen, and coronavirus stops being a thing that keeps us all inside.

I must have missed the bit where you got Covid. I'm so glad to hear that you came through it but it's not great to hear that recovery isn't as straightforward as generally thought. I had no idea that taste doesn't come right back but I'm glad to read that you seem to be improving a little. A huge number of people in my workplace (hospital) are taking the whole thing so lightly. Rest up and take care of yourself, as much as you can. *hugs*
