As a cat and musical lover, it's no surprise that I quite enjoy the Broadway musical Cats.  However, too few people know that the musical is based on a collection of poems by T.S. I think, maybe? I couldn't think of any off the top of my head, but more likely than not. It's been too long since I've read it.

These Lit posts are for a class I'm taking on English (British) Literature since 1800. I'm having fun with them, mostly trying to tie in my personal experiences with them and why I love the bits I love, while making them relevant to what we're studying. This week we did Eliot and Yeats. I almost did a post on Yeats, as I've been to several of his inspirational spots in Ireland and places where he wrote and his grave, but I decided to do this instead.

I do! I just don't usually do it on a once a week schedule. Maybe I'll keep it up a bit after this semester's over. I do enjoy getting to have a little discussion with others about it. Sadly no one in our class is really interacting on these blog posts, but I'm glad for the others who are getting use out of them.
