OMG waaaaanntsss! Upon introduction I can see where one would be hard-pressed not to immediately glomp him and play with his ears. On the other hand, why resist? ;)

I KNOW! Such cute eeeeeears! *gives them pets and tickles*

Isn't Juno a pretty horse? She's an adopted mustang, very different from your usual domesticated horse; she holds very decided opinions about the world. *g*

He is a charmer, for sure. Sometimes mixed dogs turn out just right. He's gorgeous. I would love to have a big dog like that, some day.

His heritage is anybody's guess -- favorite speculations include bloodhound, Anatolian shepherd, German shepherd, and great Dane, but who knows. Various organizations in the US have recently started offering canine DNA breed testing, and I'm hoping that Tru may get tested some day. It'd be interested to know what went into the mix that produced him.

Big dogs are fun. And it's amazing how much safer they make you feel, pretty much anywhere, any time of the day or night. They don't even have to do anything; just that gigundamous canine presence is enough. :-)
