Anna has tried a lot of different things on her vacations. She went on an organized group camping and hiking trip; that was a bad idea. She spent the whole time fending off predatory insects and a pimply university boy who thought he could talk his way into her tent. He was wrong. She tried a spa, but found she didn't want to be healthful and disciplined while on holiday. She wanted indulgence. The next year she blew a lot of money on a trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon in England, a pilgrimage to the mother ship. That was disastrous. The last thing she needed was to be around more crazy theater people while she was supposed to be relaxing. And frankly, she wasn't convinced that their actors or their productions were any better than the ones back in New Burbage. She never said that to anyone back home, of course; their egos didn't need to get any more swollen. Well, except for Geoffrey, when she visited him at that facility where he ended up - she tried to keep visiting, for a while; it seemed like the right thing to do - but she

I'm glad she's figured out how to be pampered that way, but sad that she needs it so much. And I'm giggling madly about her making friends with Zeda (she so would) and falling for Gus (who wouldn't).

I'm madly in love with the idea of Anna and Gus. Perhaps a sequel of Gus visiting Anna in New Burbage? Oh the hijinks that will ensue.
