i saw the movie earlier this year, and was told by felisdemens to read the book. good advice--the movie is pretty bad, the book is very good.

i seem to be reading more slowly lately, though i am still reading more constantly than before i began with this goal. here's what i have read in the past two months:

22. a kiss of shadows (merry gentry #1)

24. seduced by moonlight (merry gentry #3)
25. fray (entire graphic novel)

i have finished the Sookie Stackhouse book i was reading (book #20), and with that the series to date. i also have finished reading In The Heat Of The Night (book #21), the 1965 novel upon which the 1967 movie was based. excellent book, excellent movie.
