I heard about
mission101 last year when
padawanpooh joined, and this year I decided to give it a go as well. I'm feeling a lot more positive lately (think I've got my thyroid meds sorted and should be starting my new job soon), and hopefully this list should help me to focus and achieve things.
Wish me luck!

Re-reading my list, it seems to veer wildly from serious, grown-up things like sorting out my credit status, to learning silly poems and going skinny-dipping. I think I'm quite happy with the mix, it should keep things interesting!

I think everyone's list should contain some fun and silly stuff, it can't all be serious, 'cos then you're less likely to want to stick to it. =/

I considered putting 'complete' instead of 'attempt' for NaNoWriMo, but since I struggle with original fic I decided to leave it as 'attempt'. I will take the attempt seriously, but the thought of writing 'complete' and then failing scares me at the moment! Maybe after I've achieved some of the smaller writing goals it will seem more realistic, and I might change it at that point.
For tai chi, I used to go to classes and learnt about half of the form that our instructor taught. For this challenge, I would like to learn the whole form (sequence of movements) so that I can practice it in full by myself and not have to keep stopping to look up what comes next! (I just had a look at your 101in1001 list - did you choose yoga or tai chi?) As for skate backwards - if I'm on skates and deliberately going backwards without being pushed, hey, I'm happy!
As for 43 & 44, I'm not sure of another way to phrase them, but I know what I mean!

I ended up in yoga, which I loved. I take a class twice a week, and have been going for about 8 months.
The sequence and movements thing gives you a good way to measure. Yay!
I'm with you on 43 & 44. No one's list is perfectly measurable. And, as my failure to track my walking indicates, sometimes the effort of measuring becomes a problem.
Back to nano - with any luck, doing it will free your writing a bit and might even help with the other projects!
So much of nano is learning to kill your inner editor and just trust your intuition and be willing to have a terrible first draft. Some inner editors are hard to kill, though.
