The semester has hit its climax, and lately I've been seeing little slips of paper with the following message written on them:

"Need a break from studying? Cold? Tired? Hungry? Come join us at the SFU Focus Club and hang out with friends."

Now, studying too much is not a problem I have, but I thought it was pretty cool that there's a club on ( Read more... )

You should just go and hijack their meetings. Like start derailing bible time, every time.

These things have a way of self correcting. As with any type of marketing you have to know your target audience, and being unclear about their group basis is just going to lead to alot of self righteous students storming out of their meetings the first time a bible pops out.

I agree that's really a cheap shot.

A bit of Buddhist meditation in the middle of their group would help derail them too.

What baffles me is they have the nerve to call it something like a FOCUS club. That's bizzare.

You should start your own club, haha.
