Summary: Sungmin met Kyuhyun at preschool as a weak little kid, but later proves to Kyu that bunnies can be brave too!

A/N: I thought of Bb!Sungmin and the rest just fell into place.

“Sungmin-ah! Time to wake up!” Leeteuk said as he gently shook the lump underneath the extremely fuzzyand pink blanket. A little arm came out of the bundle and waved around perilously, hitting Leeteuk in the eyes in its wake.

“Ab um ahma.” A little muffled sound came from the covers. Leeteuk huffed and yanked the blanket off of Sungmin, revealing the small boy with his pink pajama top rising up above his belly and his footie bottoms slipping. When the light invaded Sungmin’s eyes he shrieked and flipped himself over away from the window. “I dun anna!” still babbling in his half-woken state. Leeteuk wrapped his arms around Sungmin’s middle and picked up the flailing child, who was still screaming. Leeteuk inhaled and exhaled slowly then pinched Sungmin’s nose.

“Yah! You bad child, do you want to go to school today with Bunny at home?! Now stop screaming!” Sungmin quieted down to catch a breath of air and stopped stirring. Leeteuk smiled tiredly at the now quiet child and let go of Sungmin’s nose.

“Now let’s get you dressed.”

==At Kyuhyun’s House==

“Appa, breakfast.” Kyuhyun said to the log on their couch. His father didn’t stir at all, making Kyuhyun frown. He tried again. “ Appa! Breakfast!” Still no response. He grimaced and got out a metal ladle along with a pan. He silently moved them next to his father’s ear and hit them together with force. “YAH! YOU LAZY PERSON! WAKE UP!” he yelled along with the already loud banging. KangIn jolted awake, rubbing his ears and looked at Kyuhyun like he was a ghost, before his face softened and he ruffled his son’s hair.

“Yah,” he said in annoyance, “ How many times have I told you that’s dangerous, I could lose my hearing by the time your next birthday comes!” Kyuhyun stared back at him blankly, not understanding the humor.

“I think you already have.” He said dryly. KangIn feigned a wound to the chest before standing up and walking towards the counter. The breakfast was eaten quietly and quickly. When Kyuhyun finished his, he got up and picked up what he needed for preschool. He reached for the door to leave.

“Hey.” KangIn pipped up. Kyuhyun turned back to face him, letting his hand fall to his side.

“What? I’m going to be late.”

“Let me walk you to school.” KangIn offered with a kind smile. Kyuhyun eyed him wearily.

“No.” And he walked out the door, slamming it behind him causing KangIn to wince.

==At the Kindergarten==

“No! I won’t go!” Sungmin cried as he clung to his Umma’s leg. Leeteuk looked to his child exasperated and helpless.

“Why not? All your friends are in there! Bunny is going with you too!”

“Kyu kyu isn't here yet! I’m not going in until he’s here!” Sungmin screamed in protest. Leeteuk rolled his eyes to the sky and mouthed a prayer ‘I’ll start going to church, just get him to go to school, PLEASE!’.

“Hyung, what are you doing on the ground? You’re getting your overalls dirty.” A voice said from behind, causing Sungmin to immediately stop his crying. He whipped his head around a swiftly abandoned Leeteuk’s leg for a hug with Kyuhyun.

“Kyu kyu! You’re here!” Sungmin cheered. Kyuhyun broke away from the hug and began dusting off Sungmin’s overalls while the pink child waited patiently (to Leeteuk’s astonishment) for him to finish. Kyuhyun examined his work, then gave it an approving nod before taking Sungmin’s eager hand and led him into the school.

“Bye Mr. Park.” He said as they left. Leeteuk closed his agape jaw and shoved and hand through his hair and shook his head in disbelief.

“That Kyuhyun must be a miracle worker or something.” He murmured to himself and he left for his car. When he opened the driver’s door he stopped and pointed to the sky.

“Sending a kid down to do your dirty work is cheating, so no church for me.” He grinned as he retaliated against the invisible party. He slipped into the car and started the engine to leave for his work day.

==At Unkown location==

KangIn held his resume in his hand, or more so, gripped the resume in his hand. He asked Heechul to help him with a nice buzz cut and spent the little amount of spare money he had to rent himself a nice clean dress shirt and pair of black slacks for his interview. He looked up toward the several story glass building and swallowed. Part of him screamed to just walk away; there would be other jobs, but then he thought about Kyuhyun this morning. His son didn’t even want to be seen with him. KangIn scratched the back of his neck and sighed, this place probably would pay more anyway, so he wished himself luck and walked into the black and modern lobby.

Inside there were no decorations on the walls, save for the large metallic sign of the company name. Seoul Fashion. KangIn gulped and tugged a bit at his shirt collar. A fashion industry? How did Shingdong start a company like this. He scanned the spacious and empty room for a desk clerk. The desk clerk was right in front of the sign. His mussed black hair fell a little over his eyeliner decorated eyes. KangIn walked over and coughed a little to catch the man’s attention. The man snapped his head up and eyed KangIn with some disgust.

“What do you want, ahjusshi?” KangIn was taken aback by the man’s harshness, but shook it off.

“I’m here for an interview with a, um, Lee-er, Leeteuk, I think his name is.” The man’s eyes widen slightly before he forced a smirked back.

“I’ll call him.” KangIn rocked back and forth on his feet as the desk clerk called. When he had finished the call, he scribbled something on paper and handed it off to KangIn. “Twelfth floor, room 1207. It’s a maze up there, so if you get lost, ask a local.” KangIn nodded his thanks and headed for an elevator.

The elevator doors opened to reveal a much brighter interior to greet KangIn. In fact, everything was white. The sofas, the walls, the tiles, with the exception of the small brightly colored decorations like the potted plant in a oval like vase. KangIn looked down at the piece of paper and came to realize it was a mini map. He took a right, then a left next to a way too fancy water cooler (gold lined), and lastly, took another right before he came to the conclusion that this place is a human maze, and he’s the lab rat.

KangIn sighed in frustration and balled up the little paper. “Screw all this.” He mumbled before he stormed back to retrace his steps. He was about to take the next turn until he heard a unmistakable voice.

“Excuse me, when is Mr. Kim going to get here?”

No way.

KangIn followed his way to the voice and stopped to see someone he never wanted to see again. Park Jungsu stood, talking to a much younger girl about something KangIn could guess was his interview and froze in his spot. There was Park Jungsu, the elder he always made fun of for being homosexual, yet couldn’t bring himself to hate like his friends did. He wanted to erase those memories of seeing a bloodied up Jungsu glaring up at him. He didn’t want to remember his elder who probably has come to hate him now. KangIn felt his heart bungee up to his throat when Jungsu saw him and paused.

“Youngwoon?”

Fuck…
