I hardly drink, so turning 21 this past Friday was not that big a deal. I didn't even go out bar hopping or clubbing; instead I just had dinner and a girly sleep over with lots of junk food and margaritas.

But..IT IS SO, SO WEIRD BEING ABLE TO WALK INTO THE GROCERY STORE AND BUY ALCOHOL. So weird.

Man, I can't even *imagine* what it would have been like having to wait until 21 to buy my own alcohol. For one thing, I would have had to get Mike to do it for the past two years.

But I do remember the feeling of being able to buy your own, and, yes, it is weird. That goes away pretty fast, though, to be replaced with outrage at the prices. *g*
