i agree the lisa gerald bits during the driving were poorly placed. the end went further than the novella and ranks up there with that of the remade dawn of the dead. good stuff :D

when the first lisa chord hit, I was like "oh hell no they didnt" and the entire theater just burst out laughing. then it got quiet...then

Again, wails of laughter. How poorly thoughtout. that was a gamble that felt flat.

I havent read the novella. What is it called? the mist as well or is it part of another series of stories under a different title?

in 1985 it was included in the short story publication skeleton crew. don't know of its current incantation. i read it way back when, but fondly remember it being among my favorite things the man had written.
