Sometimes things just happen, Spencer thinks, blinking sweat out of his eyes, and crashes his cymbals as hard as he can.

I used to be really great at commenting. I'd leave really thoughtful words that completely expressed how I felt. I swear, ever since I've gotten into this fandom I have not been able to do that and it's unbelievably frustrating.

Now I find myself unable to say anything but "wow," "amazing," or "fucking incredible."

I am a complete sucker for anything Jon/Spencer and I love reading every single fic where they meet and where Jon eventually becomes a part of the band. It seems so fresh and alive to me because while there are similarities (*waves to canon*) every author really makes each piece their own. So yes, I loved this. I love the thought of Jon Walker just throwing Spencer for a loop because he's so Jon. Warm and happy and good. I also really loved your Brent. Even though I only started giving a damn about these boys this past summer (so I was automatically a Jon girl), I still get kind of sad ( ... )

He was so young. I don't blame him for not wanting to be there all the time, and I'm sure that's how he felt. He loved the music but he wanted to go home and be normal and I get that. I can't even imagine what it's like to live the life that these boys lead.

Dude, WORD. I mean, how old were they, eighteen, nineteen? Poor Brent. Sometimes I feel really bad for him.

This fic makes me a bit breathless. I love the feeling you put into it. And I love Spencer's relationship with his band, especially in the beginning when they're all starry-eyed, it's so lovely!

Ooh, nice. I loved the contrast between the craziness with Brent and the cuteness with Jon, the way he gives Spencer that stability.

(Also, I'm a complete dork because I couldn't help flailing a little at the mention of Panic playing Newcastle- man, I really hope they come back here sometime soon.)

My darling, I love this so much it is just about the story of my heart! It's so full of all this indefinable emotion at the same time that it's restrained, and then adorable, and then real and sharp and painful and wonderful, and I love it a lot, lot, lot. There were so many lines here that made me catch my breath and stop for a second, they were so beautiful. ♥
