Oh, wesley! I just want to cuddle him up until all the pain goes away! that is exactly the kind of thing that he would fear, that it would be a mistake he made that gets someone he loves killed. *huggles him*.

This was great. I loved that it was Wesley on top for some reason, that even though Giles was the one who wanted to comfort Wesley, it was like Wesley still maintained all the control. And like the illusion he tells himself that he can keep Giles safe, he was allowing Giles the illusion that he was actually comforting Wesley.

It makes me so sad that the series ending for him was actually sort of kind, because it seems so impossible that he ever would have been able to emotionally recover from everything that happened. :-(
