Community recs?

LJs usually do have better quality stuff, though, probably because reviews are a lot more personal when you can respond directly to them and everyone is afraid of posting crap. I can think of a ton of recs to give you, but most of the long good ones are gen.

I don't mind gen. Though I prefer it in very small doses.

The problem with LJ is you have to find the good stuff first. And I tend to get very easily distracted by a lot of non-fic related stuff when I surf LJ ^^; I'm trying to limit myself.

I guess I should check on fav links in ff.net. I just have this moral opposition to ff.net (long story, goes way back), so I've been avoiding it. Project Greenlight has really good stories, that I've seen, but it lacks a community feel.

...But Greenlight has author's homepages, and a few of those appear to be LJ. Hmmm, something to explore. Thanks for the suggestions! *hops off like a happy bunny*
