I wrote a drabble. A bona fide drabble, under 300 words. I have never written anything this short before. Once I post this, I shall go check the weather channel to see when they expect that rain of fish tomorrow

By contrast, Zoro's open rage, grief and lunatic determination were as refreshing as the sake, and the only thing that made his teacher smile these days.
and how you show Zoro's grief binding him closer to someone --- and having just finished watching a One Piece episode where Zoro was showing again how attached he gets to people... I think you've captured something characteristically Zoro. (and he's unlike certain other avengers we know)

Oooo. I like this lol. Man I'm only up to 185 on the episodes. I had a sudden burst of need to watch them a couple weeks ago. I haven't seen much of Robin's past yet. Not sure how far you have to go to see it...But I also don't know if the series is done or if there's more still being made and how many >_<.
I'm hopin you write up a non 1-shot one piece fic sometime. >_>..Zoro/Robin Robin/Zoro maybe? I just always thought they'd make an interesting couple. They generally react the least to most stuff that goes on around em unless it strikes something about their passion or childhood. Ya know? >_> I tried some of the sites you all posted last time but couldn't find a updated fic, or just one I could really get behind. Yaoi or non.
Anywho. I'm looking foward to more of your fics as always. ^_^.

You have to get VERY far before seeing Robin's past, if I remember right. It's in the late 300 episodes (manga). The series is still ongoing, on ep 430 and still going strong ^_^
Good point about Zoro and Robin's reactions. They could really click, though I'm having a hard time writing any pairing in One Piece ^^;
Well, you could try going for the period after Usop's dad left (was he old enough to remember that?) instead of his mom's death. Anyways, I liked this. I thought it was a bit odd too that Kuina's dad was so stoic about her death (cue the conspiracy theories), but I guess the focus was meant to be on Zoro not him.
There are several periods that I could pick for Usopp, but I just can't think of anything funny or insightful to write for it *sigh*
Yeah, I think you hit the nail on the head in regards to Kuina's dad. Of course, it looks massively odd taken realistically, but OP is not meant to be taken that way at all :P
