My friend Jason said that I make everything bad that happens to me out to be the worst thing in the world and he doesn't know why I need so much drama in my life. I think your friend misunderstands the purpose of your journal. I get the feeling that maybe he reads it and thinks you fume and dwell on these things. I read it as you're venting. It's your initial reaction. You're getting your anger out so you can deal in real life. It's sort of the same thing as someone yelling when something bad happens. No one accuses them of having too much drama, because people realize that when something bad happens to you, you get angry. You yell, you vent, you rant. You choose to do it on LiveJournal, whereas other people yell and scream about it. If anything, he's stirring drama by bitching about your posts. I'm just saying I understand where you're coming from.

I'm glad he DOESN'T read my journal. Good lord. If he read my journal he'd probably be even more certain that I'm a drama queen. Also he'd be pissed that I'm talking about him in this entry. :-p

I haven't even known what to say to that nonsense. You HAVE to pay attention to a problem IN ORDER TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX IT. And deciding things "don't matter" when I'm not looking at them sounds an awful lot like privilege. Hate being enslaved? Wish you could vote? Want to be able to walk down to the gas station without getting the shit beaten out of you for some personal characteristic (skin color, religion, sexual identity, etc.?) Well, it doesn't matter, because *I* don't mind!

I honestly don't know how people feel like they can get away with treating another human being the way they treat. Seriously, it boggles my mind. Total WTF.
