(FWIW, I had wondered why Bella wasn't spayed, but I figured (a) maybe it's the cost and/or (b) she's your cat and you can decide what surgeries she needs, and in either case (c) it's none of my fucking business. The breathing thing makes a lot of sense, tho.)

I was worried about the breathing thing when I noticed that she'd stop breathing sometimes on her own, and I have a friend who's a vet, so I had him check her out informally just to give me an idea

I get tired of explaining the story to everyone, and then some people actually think I'm making it up as an excuse not to spay her (hello, I don't NEED an excuse, do you think I care that much what you think of me? She's my fucking cat, go fuck yourselves).

Sorry if this came across as me talking to you, I didn't mean it that way, I meant I was tired of explaining it to other people, not you.
