I just don't understand why they can't manage to train doctors to have some empathy for other people. I just don't.

That was the best description of any outpatient surgery I have ever read. Especially the part where they tell you to relax. (I love how they say that and then say "you're not relaxing!" while stabbing you with some medieval torture device that of course no one bothered to explain what it was or where it was going to stab you because then you might not RELAX. No, YOU THINK?!?)
