In all seriousness, you know I barely ever agree with your opinion on movies, but I am in complete agreement. "I Spit on Your Grave" is a powerful film, and the depictions of rape are not meant as only shock, but the mere utter punishment on this woman for being so beautiful by men who felt she deserved this because of that.
Art is not supposed to be safe, or clean, or happy. Art is also supposed to disturb, make you contemplate, and also leave you feeling dirty.
