Akinari didn't really like to talk to anyone while in the day room; he wanted to spend time alone, with his book. But today, he felt ill and out of sorts. And the words on the page were just small enough to be annoyingly difficult to focus upon.

And there was this strange guy, just staring - not that it was uncommon to just blank out, but there was this noise. Was he growling?

Against better sense, Akinari got up from where he was sitting and walked over to the pale-haired man. "... hey." He put out a hand, but fell short of actually touching the other. "What's wrong?"

Cornell laid paralyzed by the motion. His tongue rolled out of his mouth and his eyes closed. He looked truly happy and innocent for a moment, if it wasn't for the fact that there was a body laying not but a few feet away. The man waited until she was moving away to follow her. He didn't understand why she stopped even when looking at the body. It was just sleeping, right?

She feigned a smile toward the man who was following her. She leaned over and touched Akinari's face. "Hey, hey are you alright?" His neck was bleeding pretty bad, so Kate removed her shirt, leaving her only in a flimsy tank top. She pressed the fabric to Akinari's neck, compressing the wound. Why hadn't the doctors or nurses come to check on the room yet? Why hadn't anyone been around to help? Glancing nervously, toward the other man. "You won't do this to me will you, right boy?"

The Hyuuga moved down the hallway, his hand toying with his hair as he brushed it off his shoulders. He'd been wanting to see the Day room for a while, but he'd always been too busy. Now, since he was free, he figured it would be alright.

Though, once he reached the room, it sure was a sight to see.

There were three patients there; one was a girl, leaned over another patient who seemed to be . . bleeding? Then there was the other one who was sprawled on the floor, looking much like a dog.

He blinked then shifted into security mode quickly, hurrying forwards and kneeling down next to Kate and Akinari, his hand reaching out to press over Kate's, trying to stop the bleeding.

``He won't do anything with me here,`` he told her quietly, lavender eyes shifting towards the fair haired male on the floor.

That's what he thought. The fast movements caused him to move, getting up. He growled in warning, but otherwise made no movements to do anything harmful to either of them. Then without warning he lunged, crashing into the other male. He tried to bite the other male, just as he had with Akinari.

Kate was completely taken by surprise by a third man rushing to her side. He was clearly here to help and she welcomed it. But suddenly the 'dog-man' attacked the helpful, dark-haired stranger, lunging at him.

Kate acted quickly, taking the opportunity to move Akinari out of the way, shielding his body with hers, watching the struggle from afar.

He carefully applied more pressure to the wound, brows knitting in slight frustration. If they didn't get the patient to a doctor, he could end up getting severe blood loss (which he was probably already on the verge of) or worse.

The growl made him look up, pale eyes widening when he was tackled down, his arm coming up so he could hold the male away from himself. He didn't want to get bit again.

Shifting his weight, Neji attempted to roll them over, using other arm for leverage.

Akinari stirred after several minutes, opening his eyes to see a woman nearby - he could hear the sounds of a struggle. He was barely holding onto consciousness, the shirt already half-soaked with blood. Cornell's bite had surely hit a major vein. The bite in the arm wasn't much better, but it was less threatening.

Cornell held pretty well, at least until a leg gave way and he found himself on his back. There was a loud thud of the man hitting the ground hard. He laid still, showing a sign of giving up. Cornell panted with exertion, a heavy sound as the hot air of his breath hit the other mans face. But he showed no sign of stablizing as the blank look in his eyes continued to stay there.

Neji was surprised at the patient's strength, but when he ended up pinning the other male down, he moved quickly so he could hold the other's arms down.

He shook his hair out of his face, making sure to keep his grip tight and looking back over his shoulder for barely a minute, his gaze on the female patient. ``I'm going to have to ask you to get him out of here and to a doctor, unless you want to lose him.``

Turning back to Cornell quickly, he tilted his head and tried not to tighten his hold again. ``Stop,`` he told the man firmly.

A flash of a distant memory, hands holding him down. Suddenly he was struggling and wide eyed. Cornell didn't like being held down, not even with as animalistic as he had been acting. Animals never liked being held down, but now he was acting different. Maybe he'd hit his head to hard? He kicked out with his feet instead of biting as he would have normally. The silver haired male was having a panic attack, and while he should have been comforted to see someone on security, his mind fooled him. All he saw was an attacker that he needed to get away from.

"N.." The start of a word, cut off short. Probably the first time he had spoken all day.

He raised an eyebrow when the other started to struggle, his hands tightening again before he eventually let go and pushed himself away from the fair haired man. If he was having a panic attack, Neji didn't want to end up getting caught in it and he could always make it worse if he tried to keep him down.

Getting off the floor, he reached for the tranq at his side, resting his hand over his pocket, just to be safe for the moment.

As soon as the hands were on him they were gone and the silver haired man stopped his struggle. Although he was hyperventilating which soon turned into the hiccups. He slowly sat up with a hic. Then he laid his eyes onto Neiji, the expression on his face looked a bit scared. His face felt dry and caked with something, so he went to rub it off. Blood flaked onto his hands and he stared at the man again.

"I... oh god... what did I do...?" He said, not wanting to look around and see for himself.

His hand lowered after a moment, soft lavender eyes locked on the male that seemed to be able to speak now, though he was still in a panic mode from what Neji could see. He hesitantly moved forwards, kneeling down and removing the bandages from his pocket, offering them to Cornell for him to clean his face.

``I believe you attacked a patient and then you . . had an attack yourself.`` He did his best to not look towards the other two patients for fear of making things worse.

Cornell took the bandages thankfully and lowered his gaze. How could he attack people and why couldn't he remember it? He hoped it wasn't bad and he hadn't seriously hurt the other patient. Was he going to get punished for something he couldn't remember? He really hoped not. He also hoped the patient was alright.

"Is the patient ok? I didn't seriously hurt him or her, did I?" Cornell asked, fear leaking into his voice as he looked back up. Blue eyes met lavender, and suddenly he felt like crying.

Kate continued to compress Akinari's wound, her body sheltering his protectively.

"He'll be fine if he gets some medical attention, soon."
