Summary: Akinari asked Sasuke for help and well, he's just trying to do his job!

"You're not what I expected." Akinari said, after he opened the door; he looked at the man before him, taking him in up and down with a quick glance.

He coughed into one hand, then pulled a bit of ragged cloth from his pocket, clapping it over his mouth. "We have to hurry. I may not have much time." He grabbed Sasuke's sleeve with his free hand after the 'fit' had passed.

"Promise me that you'll believe me. Promise me."

``What were you expecting?`` An eyebrow raised when the door opened, his arms falling from his chest, one hand resting on his hip while he glanced the patient over; he didn't look like he was sick, but it could have been something eating him on the inside.

He blinked and reached out with his other hand, half expecting the rag to be covered in blood or something, but hesitating when there was nothing. ``Calm down,`` he murmured, looking down when his sleeve was grabbed.

``Alright, promise.`` Taking hold of Akinari's wrist, he held carefully and began to lead him down the hall towards one of the examination rooms.

"Taller." Akinari said, frowning. "You look like you're my age." He ventured, as he allowed himself to be led by the wrist.

But only for a second before he shook Sasuke loose. "Don't haul me around like I'm your girlfriend or something." He said, defensively. "I'm sick. Don't you treat your patients with any sort of care?"

``How old are you then?`` Sasuke rolled his eyes, shaking his head afterwards then blinking when Akinari pulled his wrist away.

He did his best to stay calm, crossing his arms over his chest and continuing down the hall, stopping when they reached the room he was looking for, his hand reaching out to push the door open. ``I do.``

Horrible eyes? Evil? The Uchiha let those words sink in for a minute, his hands still holding Akinari's wrists. He shook his head, an eyebrow raising in curiousity. ``Who are you talking about?``

When arms were around him, he blinked once again, shaking his head and settling his hands on the other's shoulders now. ``No, I was just wondering. You looked a bit pale even before I took the samples.``

"I don't know his name..." Akinari said quietly; he was shivering - the more he thought about that strange guy, the more it worried him. And he didn't trust his roommates either.

"I don't know if I could eat now..." He clung to the other like a wayward burr.

``What did he look like?`` Sasuke blinked towards the shaking, head tilting before he decided to let go of the other male's wrists, lowering his hands to rest on his legs.

``Well, I won't force you, but it might be a good idea.`` He lifted his hand, brushing his fingers through Akinari's hair and resting his other arm around his shoulders.

Akinari was silent for a time, and then: "I don't want to talk about it." He stated stubbornly, pulling away out of the embrace once he'd had enough. He looked down at the cotton and tape over the needle mark, and absently scratched at the latter.

"Don't tell anyone... about me. Okay?"
