"Looks like I beat Rena." Keiichi commented as he walked up to Satoshi, smiling widely. It was the first time he got to see Satoshi since he got back and was still conscious. "Unless she's hiding somewhere around here?"

Satoshi nodded his headat Rena's suggestion, and again Rika's. It had been way too long since they had played a game together....

"Punishments? Hmm..." Though Satoshi was calm outwardly, in his own mind he gulped. Anyone here besides himself and Rika who came with the punishments would create something terrible... Rena would do it for her love of cute things, Satoko because she loved tricks, and Keiichi because... he was a bit of a pervert.

Satoshi chuckled at that last thought, but turned to his friends and scratched his head.

"Umm... I guess... Keiichi could come up with them?" He smiled, a little nervously, but it was a smile nontheless.

"Ooooh, Keiichi-Nii gets the honor?" Satoko let loose a cackle, and dropped her brother's hand in favor of scooting towards Keiichi. This would be good.

"Psst... Keiichi!" She tugged on his shirt, hoping to gain his attention. She had a few questions for him, and his punishments being one of them.

"Keiichi-Nii... Did you and Nii-Nii... um... Were you all good while I was away?" She whispered, her tone demanding.

"Oh yeah..." She hoped the others weren't listening while she pestered Keiichi. "What are you going to do for the punishment?" She whispered again, poking his side.

"A game sounds like a perfect way to celebrate!" Keiichi agreed, taking his seat. And then he was elected for the honor. He paused, looking thoughtful

Rena nodded at Keiichi as he detailed their punishments, her vision already clouded by visions of adorable outfits and awkward stuttering.

"I won't lose!" the girl said, with the kind of confidence inspired by their club's activities. She didn't really mind dressing up as a nurse that much, since it would probably be a cute costume, but if she managed to avoid losing...

"I'm going to take the loser home with me!"

Rika blinked, her legs swinging under the table as Keiichi thought up their punishments. She had been dressed up as a cat many times before, and wasn't really afraid of being made to do so again. After all, she wasn't planning on losing the game, either.

"Fight!" Rika said, pumping her fist into the air.

Satoshi sighed, shaking his head. He would be doomed to always skirts, if Keiichi and Rena had their way. And probably Satoko, too.

"It's settled, then." He said with a grin.

Satoko cackled at the fine choices for costumes. Punishment games had always been her favorite part of their games.

She looked around the table, and couldn't help but feel relieved. When was the last time they had all been together like this? Usually, Someone would be dead by now... Rika would sliced open... Rena and Mion beaten, Keiichi tortured....

Her thoughts continued along this path, and shefolded her hands in her lap.

"Hey... do you guys... do you guys ever remember anything... strange?" She asked quietly.

Ah, the spirit of rivalry was stoked and ready to roar! It had been too long since Keiichi got to see this in his friends. "Now we just need to-"

He paused, noticing the look on Satoko's face. Suddenly worried and quiet. And that sort of question...

"...we can talk about that later. For those who don't...better to explain after we've got a bit of happiness." Keiichi said seriously, standing up. "We're safe here. There are doctors aware of that, no one else from the village, but us, and if they were to do anything, it would have happened by now." He said.

And then he put on a wide smile. "So, how about we talk about it after the punishments have been doled out?"

As soon as Satoko brought up the topic that had been on everyone's minds, Rena's heart pounded against her ribcage. Suddenly, images that were strange and disjointed flashed across her mind; a paranoid Keiichi, a murderous Mion (or, was it Shion?), a fight on the roof of the school, a school filled with toxic gas, a woman in black...

"...I think that Keiichi's right," Rena said finally, looking up, pushing the images from her mind. "We should wait until after the game to talk about this."

Rika glanced sideways at Satoko as the topic of the muders in the other worlds was breeched. She had suspected that her friends had remembered something...Keiichi, at least, since he had been the first one to remember the other worlds at all. However, all four of the people sitting with her seemed to realize what Satoko was talking about when she mentioned 'something strange.'

Did they remember their sins from the past? Did they remember all of the suffering they had endured?

"...Let's wait until after the game," Rika said, in her normal, nine-year-old voice. If they could prolong feelings of regret and sadness for a few minutes, then it was better than nothing.
