She had heard the other patients talking about Animal Therapy, and deciding it didn't sound too intimidating, the young girl made her way over to the Day Room, peering in around the corner, green hair soft about her face. She didn't say anything for a long moment, but the moment she caught sight of a puppy with long, floppy ears, Ranka was bounding over and dropping down onto her knees, gathering the pup into her arms to snuggle him.

Footsteps; he looked up at the sound of someone turning the corner and lazily blinked when the girl made her entrance, watching with a bemused expression when she headed straight for a puppy.

The feeling of prickling claws scraping against his skin presently brought his attention and a pained look back to the little animal occupying his lap at the moment, however. Catching his eyes, the kitten made a great show of yawning and stretching as it loftily turned its head away the moment eye contact was initiated, an air of 'You totally deserved that' hanging around it like a thin veil of arrogance. The upturning of the blond's lips turned slightly strained.

Damn, now he remembered why he wasn't partial to cats. They were conceited as hell and he completely wasn't being a hypocrite when he said that, no sirree.Distracting the feline with a poke to its side that quickly turned into an automatic tickling session, he looked back at the new arrival as his companion batted at his hands with baby claws that didn't hurt but still stung.
