Rude wasn't surprised by Tseng's arrival, it was about time. Like Reno said earlier, it seemed like everyone was coming here. Rude was patrolling the halls, making sure patients were getting out of hand. When he reached the staff offices, he heard what sounded like unpacking and some weird squeak. This must be Tseng's office, as no other new staff members had arrived today (from his knowledge).

Rude knocked at the door, he didn't forget his manners. "Tseng, it's Rude." A firm and collected voice, the usual tone.

He wouldn't mind taking a little break to greet his superior. He hadn't seen Tseng for what felt like months.

Well that was unexpectedly... convenient. He had just opened the first box and paused while pulling a book out. "Come in." His voice was as calm and as regulated as it normally was. He pulled out another few books and passed by the door over to the bookcase to put them away.

As soon as Rude got permission to enter, he entered the room. He examined the boxes and the room's interior before planting his eyes on Tseng and a few other boxes behind him.

"Do you need assistance?" Rude walked closer to Tseng, pointing at a box near both the men.

He heard the sound again, but kept the thought on the back of his mind. It sounded like some animal. A little animal, one that was probably hungry and cold.

Tseng let a slight smile cross his face as Rude entered the room. It was excellent to see the man again really, second in command and he trusted him implicitly for the most part -he'd always had a soft spot for Reno but such things could be overlooked-. Truth be told he had missed his co-workers more than he liked to admit. They were family in a weird way and he felt more balanced with them close by.

"No, I don't wish to keep you from your job." He walked back over to the box, this time picking it up and carrying it over to the bookcase. "Was there something you needed Rude?"

Elena was in a huff, as she nearly charged down the hall towards Tseng's room. He was going to hear from her, that was for sure. Having this planned all along when she'd spent so much time trying to make sure he was safe, and here he was, smug as ever, making her feel like a fool. And yes, she kind of had gotten used to that at this point, as he constantly made her feel inferior as he had been doing his job for far longer than she had ( ... )
