last night i walked/jogged 5k in 36 minutes. i am very proud of myself. a few weeks ago, i wouldn't've believe i could do this.

my goal is to jog most of the 5k race in chicago at the end of may. i'm excited to get in shape. i don't say "back in shape," because it has been a long, long time.

I have been doing p90x and working out for the past month. Love it. I am thinking of doing one of those c25k podcasts too. Congrats on your motivation!

joey, that's awesome! i wanted to try p90x but i've heard i should be in a little bit better shape before i start. what do you think? should one start p90x from "couch" status? :]

P90x isn't THAT intense, plus there are all modified moves. I know you would be fine doing it. I could only do like 2 pushups in a row, now I can do about twenty. When you start the program, they have a fitness test to know how far you can/should push it. Plus, the more rigorous of the dvds, plyometrics, has less-impact moves or you can substitute cardio x which is intended for those totally out of shape. I know you have it in you, Sharon!
