Yeah, I'm still here, but I've gotten out of the habit of reading. Too much to do, too little time.

I watched... some movie a few weeks ago... but I can't remember what it was right now. I also watched Kill Bill vol. 1 and 2 this weekend. I thought vol. 1 was enjoyable, if mindless, and vol. 2 was boring as all get out.

Heh, I should do a philosophizing post about LJ, FB, Twitter and the ilk. (It couldn't be worse than any other internet pundit's blathering, right? :) ). I do think its interesting that FB has sucked it us all, but the nature of the interaction is different. Of course, I think I'm biggest fan of "long form" posting of anyone I know, plus, I like some measure of fine control in my online interactions, so I'm drawn back to LJ again and again over FB, which makes sense.

And this comment has nothing to do with movies, so I'll fix that. Heh, we watched "The Mechanic" last weekend. I felt like I had seen it before, and it turns out it was a remake, but I hadn't seen the original. It had its moments of fun, but it's not a movie I would "seek out", but if it came on TV, I would watch it. That sort of thing.

I totally understand the preference for long form discourse. One of the other big differences for me is the radically different audiences that lj, fb, and twitter have for me. However, the factor preventing me from keeping up with lj is that I don't have an easy way to digest it on my phone yet, which is where I keep up with twitter and facebook...
