So here are various pictures, just because I was in the mood to take some and say, "Here. Look. I'm sewing things!" These are the pictures of the stays-in-progress. :)

They look great! I also find that my lining pieces often end up too big relative to the fashion fabric. The outer fabric has to curve over a larger space than the inside. I often pin things together flat, then lay them over a curved surface (the arm of a couch often) and pin them again.
