CoCo 2015 Recap: Friday

Friday was the start of classes. My first class was learning how to make ribbon roses and leaves. I was kinda bummed by this class because it was 2 hours long and I thought they'd be teaching us more complicated stuff, but instead it was just a simple gathered ribbon rose out of wired poly ribbon. Oh well, it's pretty.

I swear I'm going to make a badge that says "fuck you, I made this" for days when I'm feeling insecure. Its the perfect mantra.

I'm sorry about the wardrobe malfunction, but I'm glad you were able to get it fixed so quickly. I would have never noticed. I was too busy plotting to hit you in the face with a cup. ;)

And yes, you need a silk banyan. They are magical.

Oooh brainwave: make some garters that say "Fuck you" and "I made this"! It's all about the Katherine garter trend!

Looking on the bright side, I may have gotten hit in the face with a cup, but at least I didn't flash anybody. ;)

I am now totally regretting not getting some of that $9 silk for a banyan. Why was I so stupid in the garment district?! Why didn't I spend all my money and buy all the silk?!
