This is great. I love how you go into River's need for healing and acceptance over what she did and has done. And that Mal is the one that understands and helps her get through it is icing on the cake.

The idea struck me, what would River feel is Reavers haunted her mind. Dead ones, to boot. Plus, I'm a sucker for Mal/River relationship.

Oh, how painful for poor River. I certainly wouldn't want to hear the sins of a Reaver. Ugh. I love that it was Mal who finally found out what was going on with her. Nice work.
