Hey all. I'm not a big Mal/River 'shipper, although I do like the pairing. I've done some drabble requests in the past, from my friends, though, and I've ended up writing three Mal/River drabbles, so I thought I'd share them here. They're not related to each other. They were so wonderfully done...WOW!

I liked Sleepwalkers and Rain the best, but being a Mal/River Shipper I will take them all and drink them up, like a woman dying of thirst!

Wonderfully done...I think you have a wonderful Mal/River voice and would bend over backwards to have some longer Mal/River fics from you.

So, would that work? The bending over backwards thing? 'Cause I am that desperate for Mal/River Fic.

Awww, thanks so much. I'm very flattered you like them so much. I'm rather unconfident of my River-voice, so it's especially nice to hear that a Mal/River fan really likes it. Thank you.

I have no current plans to write a long Mal/River piece. I like the pairing, but it isn't my main one. But I will keep it in mind. :)

I have been dying for some Mal/River fiction for a while...All my favorite Mal/River authors are busy with real life and the updates are few and far between...sigh

And, having spent much time trying to "pimp" people in my pairings of choice, I completely understand obsidianagirl's attempts. :)

Thank you so much! I'm really flattered you like my character voices so much. I'm confident with my Mal, most days, but my River I'm not so strong about. It gives me a lot of hope to see that people who are real fans of her like my portrayal of her, too. :)

It isn't my pairing of choice, but I do understand it, and find it appealing. I may never write my own epic length Mal/River piece, but I'm not opposed to writing little drabbles like this, when it's requested during one of my prompts. :) And, who knows, maybe someday I will write something longer. *laughs* If the muse bites, I'll go with it. Thank you, again.

I could try to be coherent, or I could just say GOD I FUCKING LOVE YOU and be done with it. So, SO good. So delightfully shippy. I love the mood of these pieces. (I think I've read "For a Smile" before, by the way, and it just makes me scream with glee. Literally, I promise.)

"Rain" has such powerful imagery; it's amazing. I wish I could give Mal Shadow.

I wrote "For a Smile" a few weeks ago and I think it might have even been recced over the Cortex before, so it'd make sense you'd read it. But the other two were definitely new. :) So glad that you enjoyed these. It's really comforting, especially since I admire your writing, and got you to write me some Mal/Wash! LOL

I wish we could all give Shadow to Mal, too. Sigh. Thank you again. ♥♥
