Now that's different. It's a pretty unique (for me) way to thread together what should be random ideas into something whole. The ones toward the end were great with the war theme.

I really enjoyed this, thanks for sharing :)

That's simply beautiful - and such a fantastically different idea. I particularly love this:

Mal doing what he knows best, which is holding tight to the ones who are scared to go. - I have the sweetest pictures in my mind of Mal cradling a dying little girl in his arms, telling her not to be afraid.

It's amazing, darling. Perfectly amazing.

*nods* I still cry every SINGLE time I see The Message, with Mal gripping Tracey's shoulder while he cries. Every time. In fact, I may go watch it again right now and cry some more.

Woah. FANTASTIC. You have outdone yourself. :)

The dancing at the masqued ball - made me so excited because just yesterday I was like, "OMG, I should do M/R at a masqued ball!" How hilarious.

I think "Blessing" is my favorite sentence. Oh, Mal.

I also think Simon convincing Kaylee to turn off all the heat is the most hilarious thing ever. Oh, Jayne. Of course he would deal with it in the most immature, horrific, idiotic way possible. (Also - oh, Inara. Of course she would deal with it in the most bitchy way possible!!)

This is a really grand new way to portray Mal and River. I loved it.

You should do Mal and River at a masqued ball, though! Cause I adore the idea. Thank you for your kind words.

Ohhh, so lovely. ^_^ I've never seen a fic done quite like this. Yet it makes the most perfect of sense when you read everything. Great job!
