Eda cannot say no to this invite... she can't say no to anything Mal asks, really. Unless it was drastic. She really likes him.

He'll see Eda dressed in the rare sensible outfit, jeans, sweater, a jacket, gun holdster, ammo, and boots. She smiles at him while checking the safety.

“Hey darlin', never thought you'd ask me to kill things with ya. Is this a date or somethin'?”

Not that she'd mind if it was...

He'll sling the bird over his shoulder, then lopes off into the trees, till he finds a likely looking oak with a sturdy branch above his head. Tying a length of rope to the bird's legs, he slings the rope over the branch, then pulls on it, pulling the bird off the ground, then securing the other end to a branch of a small tree in the underbrush. "Hokay, let's bag us another bird if one turns up," he says, looking to Eda.
