I wish I could get my mom to see it that way.

She's not at all racist or into slavery, but she is a fan of the generals of the confederacy. Especially Mosby and Lee.

I mean there's nothing wrong with being interested in these figures after all my dad is a Jack the Ripper buff, and personally I have a historical fascination with John Wilkes Booth. I just wish my mom would acknowledge that bad sides to Lee and Mosby instead of seeing them as these knights of the round table types.
