I really don't know.  I mean, yeah, their shows have gotten boring and rote, due to whom, no one but the principals seem to know, but to see them up in DC rapping with fucking KARL ROVE just put em in the casket and buried em six feet down for me ( Read more... )

It's all over the news here in the states. Colin and Brad were the entertainment for the TV and Radio broadcasters association roastish type thing for the Government, and Colin and Ryan did a rap with the disgusting, hated Karl Rove. Ugh. Makes me physically ill, that they would be in the same state with that bastard let alone on stage pushing him along. Makes me wanna puke.

I just saw it on the website, as I got your reply. Hrm. Interesting. But You mean Colin and Brad though right? Not Colin and Ryan?

I don't know enough about American politics to comment, but I get the gist. Enough to make me somewhat uncomfortable about it. Can't see Greg being entirely pleased about that either actually.

Eh, hope they were paid a lot?

Yeah, Brad not Ryan. No, I don't think Greg would take a million to be up on stage with that asshole, especially with his fuckup with the lawyers who were fired just because they happened to be Democrats. Then again, I know that Colin doesn't like W, so if it's Brad, there's an even better reason not to like him.

I haven't seen the clip, but I don't know that it's worth getting upset over. I mean, Stephen Colbert performed at the White House Correspondents dinner last year, and I don't think anyone would characterize him as supporting the current administration (except for those people who just don't grasp the concept of his show). It's hard to know what their motivations for being there were.

I was just being out of sorts this morning. Pain does that to you. Or rather to me. I saw that and it sickened me, but then I took it for what it was and was able to laugh at it...after I'd taken the right drugs and plugged myself into my TENS unit, of course.
