I'm such a copycat (copyburd?), aka FList cut.

A couple people on my FList have been doing some spring cleaning, and it occurred to me that it's been a while since I pared down my FList ( Read more... )

We met at a kin gather in Cleveland that I showed up to 'crash' and visit with coldironkiss. Of the ones I met there, you and I added each other on IM and LJ, and talked occasionally.

I am sorry to have been cut, as I always enjoy your entries and I have a great deal of empathy for the stresses of your job, but this is your LJ and your time you spend reading, so you should only read those that you wish to.

Thank you for your understanding. :)

Do you think you'll ever make it out to the Khep gather again?

I may. It isn't the path that calls to me, really, but I have several friends who do go to Khep gathers and I can work fairly well with them, so it stands to reason I might find other as-yet-unknown friends there. ^^

It seems that I'm still on. I'm glad that you are still interested in keeping me on, though most of my posts nowadays are different from when we first interacted online. Life does thing, ya know?

I'm always interested in reading your entries, though I admit that I haven't for a while. For some reason, I can't seem to see yours. No worries though. :3

If you can't see my entries, that means I don't have you friended. You can tell whether someone is a mutual friend or if someone lists you as a friend if you go to their journal and in the top bar it says "makhsihed lists you as a friend" or makhsihed is your mutual friend".

This is totally unrelated but I wanted to say that I added you over Dreamwidth, so when you find a moment to log in there you can add me back. DW will, at some point, be my permanent home :) and it's also easy to crosspost from DW to LJ that I'm using both at the moment, just in case you were wondering.

Thanks for the notice! I still haven't gotten around to actually using DW; I just made one when my FList started migrating over there just in case. I'm so established on LJ and so used to it that I'm hesitant to move over to DW; I've been at LiveJournal since 2002. o.o

Added you back on DW. (I almost couldn't remember my password!)

I think you granted me access but did not suscribe to my journal. ^^' It's split, not like on LJ, so you can better manage who you want to read VS who you want to be able to read your stuff. I added you everywhere, in any case. ^^

I'm really liking DW more and more, it offers pretty much the same than LJ but better and for free. Also they have very cool politics (cf. diversity statement and guidelines).

Spring cleaning is a good thing! Out with the old and in with new, I think the saying goes. I can understand cutting uninteresting people from your journal, since it is your own, personal journal. Lucky for me (I think) I've started writing in my journal a bit more so perhaps I can hold better interest. :P
