He sleeps for a long time but Sameth does wake up and simply lays there, everything hurts so he decides to not move.

Sabriel woke up too and is around and about but if anyone wishes to talk to Sam, he's not going anywhere for a while.

Mia had caught a glance of Sameth in the infirmary while he was asleep. She decided she could go fetch something for him and come back without disturbing him.

So not long after he does wake up, Mia comes in with something warm wrapped up in a little picnic basket.

She was wondering when there would be someone to visit either here or there, the infirmary or the cells.

When she comes in he looks uncomfortable and offers a weak smile,

"Hello, Mia."

[gorgonfondness]

She winces in sympathy.

"Hello, Sameth," she says, unwrapping her basket. "I imagine whoever is caring for you wouldn't want me to give you anything to heal without them knowing, but I do have something that you can hopefully enjoy now."

She takes out a little plate of pastry, tons of layers of thin dough sprinkled with fruit and nuts, sweetened with honey.

"My husband surprised me by making dinner the other day and he made some baklava for dessert."

"My mother healed me, I just need to rest now."

Everything still hurts but that's to be expected. The baklava smells good so he works to sit up more, trying not to lean on his hurt wrist.

It may or may not be fortunate for Sameth that when X heads to the infirmary to see if any of the people she scented near the hole in the floor are present --

She catches a whiff of him.

Then she approaches -- after pinning her Security badge on her belt.

Just in case.

"You have been treated?"

He hasn't actually seen a Security badge before, its not terribly reassuring to see one at the moment,

"Yes, I just need to rest."

"Okay."

Beat.

"There is a hole in the floor. In the bar."

This is followed by a fractional pause.

"You do not know who made it?"

That one he can answer without getting Mogget into trouble at least,

"A woman named Blodwen."

"Greetings, Sameth," says a deep, quiet voice by the door. "I heard from -- Mogget -- what happened."

[makesthings]

No one else really has a voice like Teja and Sameth considers if he could just hide under the covers as he turns to Teja. He's still quite pale and being careful with his wrist,

"Hello."

[ostro_goth]

"I know not," Teja says, "should I praise your bravery, condemn your foolhardiness, or simply congratulate you upon surviving."

"I'm not sure either. I already feel foolish enough as it is and not terribly brave."

Val had actually come to the Infirmary on her own business, business which was quickly forgotten when she spotted Sameth in a bed.

"Sameth?" she inquires softly and from distance away in case he is sleeping.

He's awake and gives her a wave with his good hand, his wrist is fairly healed just everything kind of hurts,

"Hello Val."

"Are you okay?" she asks coming closer and looking for a chair. "What happened? Did someone attack you or was there some accident at the forge?"

"Um, yeah, I'll be fine. I just ran into some trouble was all."

There's a chair near the bed and he gives her a try at a smile, he doesn't want her to think he's so messed up.

Malcolm is making a pass through the infirmary tonight, checking on patients and making sure everything is going all right.

Sameth is a new face, so he pauses a little longer, and gives him a reassuring smile while he looks for his chart.

Which doesn't seem to be there for some reason. Hmm.

Sameth's awake at the moment and looks up at Malcolm,

"Hello."

[spooky_shrink]

"How're you doing?"

Always a question worth asking in the infirmary.

Malcolm is doing a fairly decent job of hunting around for the chart without making it incredibly obvious. But he can't quite disguise that something isn't going the way he expected.

"Better, just been resting. I'll be out of your way soon. Are you looking for something?"

Sameth watches him since this man seems to know his way around the infirmary.
